To add together to this, some programs nevertheless append their pictures with the .jpeg extension. Since .jpeg is a variant of the JPEG specs, I'm guessing this is just an oversight on someone'southward office

Hi,
JPEG is a unremarkably used compression for digital images. JPEG files commonly accept a filename of .jpg or .jpeg. Although different with the proper noun for the extension, only it is still in the same caste of compression.

Hi Swenny,
Information technology is not a bug on Net Explorer, nor a glitch. By default, the file extension is set to jpg. whenever you're trying to upload images or photos. However, you lot can always modify the file blazon extension of the image or photo that you lot desire to upload. This besides shows on other browsers.

Hello Swenny,
1. Information technology is not a bug on Internet Explorer, nor a glitch
2. By default, the file extension is set to jpg. whenever you're trying to upload images or photos. However, you can always change the file type extension of the epitome or photo that you want to upload.
iii. This too shows on other browsers.
For farther queries, ship us a reply.
1. If this is not a problems or a glitch, and so why is the same extension listed twice under Epitome Files in my original screenshot higher up? There is no way you can consider that to be working as designed
2. For well-nigh programs I would agree that .jpg is the default. Some programs practice use .jpeg even so. You're suggesting changing the file extensions of the actual files? That's not a solution if you lot have a large number of photos
3. Your statement is incorrect. Encounter beneath for the file types when trying to upload a picture into Facebook using Firefox (again, did any of you actually effort these steps like I have suggested at least 3 times?)
3a. Also working correctly in Chrome
Perhaps a supervisor of the moderators or someone more tech-savvy could look at this? Because so far iii moderators are not able to understand this event. Thanks
